Early Years Scotland

Early Years Scotland (EYS) is Scotland’s leading national specialist organisation that supports our youngest children from pre-birth to 5 years of age. EYS have strong connections, professional standing and credibility across and beyond the sector, and give a powerful voice to children, families, partners, ELC providers, and members across the country. Our work aims to help reduce the poverty-related disadvantage gap.  Early Years Scotland staff are all fully qualified early years practitioners. This learning site is being developed to reach more families and practitioners in order to deliver more flexible and scalable resources.

This online learning platform has been funded through a Step Change Award, awarded by the William Grant Foundation.

As the Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) sector experiences transformative change, the offer of high quality professional learning is deserving of a refreshed approach that is underpinned by ELC policy. The capability to generate and foster vibrant, early years collaborative learning communities right across Scotland is, and will, be sector leading.
